ARHAEKON: New Dungeon Crawler Hits Steam Early Access

Posted on May 16, 2024May 2, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Predict Edumedia has officially released ARHAEKON into Steam Early Access, inviting players into a richly imagined world of ruin, ancient gods, and tactical roguelike combat. Set in a decaying realm ruled by mysterious forces, ARHAEKON tasks players with preventing the extinction of humanity through strategic decision-making and punishing gameplay.

The Bleak World of ARHAEKON

You awaken as an “Arhaekon” in a broken land where two powerful factions battle for dominion: the Arhaekons, saviors of mankind, and the Prospherisors, who seek its total eradication. You must rebuild, recruit, and strategize your way across the remnants of a world left in twilight.

Core Gameplay Features

  • Dark Fantasy Setting: A narrative-rich world with mature themes and lore.
  • Roguelike Elements: Procedural dungeon generation, unit permadeath, and punishing mechanics.
  • 14 Unique Regions: Each with distinct enemies, mechanics, and stories.
  • Tactical Turn-Based Combat: Positioning, timing, and skill synergy matter.
  • 12 Units Across 4 Classes: Recruit, train, and synergize unique characters with specific roles.
  • Corruption System: Sanity and influence management as your party faces supernatural horrors.
  • Camp Management: Maintain and upgrade your base to survive the long war ahead.
  • Crafting & Loot: Gather blueprints, rare augments, and ancient lore to gain the upper hand.
  • Non-Linear Progression: Explore regions in any order—each choice brings consequences.
  • Rich Collectible Lore: Optional story rewards that flesh out the world and offer gameplay benefits.
