10 Million Players: From Debut to Modern Classic

Atomic Heart launched in February 2023 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, quickly taking the gaming world by storm. Not only did it become the #1 most discussed PC game of H1 2023 (Metacritic), but it also redefined what a new studio can do in the AAA space:

  • Brought a fresh, genre-blending identity to FPS, mixing retro-futurism and bold art direction
  • Became a breakout hit from a previously unknown studio
  • Set a new standard for visual and cinematic quality
  • Picked up 60+ “Best of the Year” nods, including BAFTA and Steam’s Outstanding Visual Style (2023)
  • Expanded its universe with three story-driven DLCs—one final chapter is still to come

CEO and Game Director Robert Bagratuni put it simply: “What started as a dream has become a reality beyond anything we imagined. Thanks to our team’s relentless dedication, bold vision, and unwavering focus on quality, we’ve achieved something truly special. We’re incredibly grateful to our players for their passion and support – it’s their enthusiasm that brought Atomic Heart to life.”

Powerhouse: Supporting the Next Generation of Big, Bold Games

With Atomic Heart now cemented as a modern cult classic, Mundfish is launching Mundfish Powerhouse: a creative label focused on helping other developers and investors turn ambitious concepts into game-changing hits.

Powerhouse is not a traditional publisher—it’s a creative and operational partner offering hands-on support from concept to launch. The goal? Fewer, bigger, bolder projects built to shake up the industry—not just another handful of indie hits. “We’ll only partner with projects where we see great potential to make noise. Not just a handful of indie hits, but big and bold games that can set a new standard for quality and creative risk,” says Bagratuni.

  • Full production expertise and high-end tools
  • Scalable pipelines and hands-on creative support
  • A vision for fewer, bigger, risk-taking games

Mundfish Powerhouse is already working with partners behind the scenes—expect more news soon.
