Creepy doll-like character with half-human, half-damaged face under the title "DREAMLESS" on a dark red and black background.

Unraveling the Mystery Dreamless Set to Launch on January 31 2025 on Switch and Xbox Series Xs

Posted on January 22, 2025June 9, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

A Cursed Town Returns to Haunt Players

This January, prepare to delve into the chilling narrative of Dreamless, a new horror game that weaves an unnerving blend of psychological fear and atmospheric storytelling. Launching on January 31, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S, it invites players into a cursed town with a terrifying legacy.

The Urban Legend of Death Week

Every 25 years, a disturbing phenomenon grips a small southern town. From August 1st to 7th, teenagers mysteriously vanish without a trace—a chilling period known locally as “Death Week.” The authorities, overwhelmed and indifferent, have long stopped investigating. Locals are told to lock their doors and pray the week passes uneventfully. Yet, every cycle, the disappearances return—and they escalate.

Is this the work of a generational killer? Or something far older and darker?

Gameplay: Horror Through the Eyes of a Vlogger

In Dreamless, you play as John, a senior high school student and dedicated video blogger. Pulled into the mystery by his friend Will, the two venture into a house once feared by the entire town—abandoned, creaking with secrets, and possibly cursed.

Core Features

  • Photo-Realistic Visuals: Every dark hallway and flickering light is rendered with haunting realism.
  • Dynamic World: The house evolves as you explore it—puzzles, paths, and danger constantly shift.
  • Engaging Audio: Designed to keep players on edge, the sound effects enhance the eerie atmosphere of the game.
  • Compelling Mystery: Piece together the town’s hidden history and uncover the truth behind the disappearances.
