Why the delay is happening
According to the statement, Steam Next Fest put Enginefall in front of more than 200,000 players.
The studio says the event confirmed the game’s blend of survival, high-density PvP, extraction tension, and player stories. It also showed more work is needed on the new player experience, performance, cheat protection, and overall clarity.
Red Rover Interactive says development will continue. Border Carriage members will remain involved through regular playtests, and larger closed playtests are planned to resume later this year.
The studio also asks teams hiring people with experience shipping complex online Unreal titles to contact adam@redroverinteractive.com.
