House House’s new walker-talker is built for two to twelve friends
Big Walk brings up to 12 friends together through crossplay, proximity chat, puzzles, and cooperative exploration across PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
House House and publisher Panic released Big Walk on August 4, 2026. The online adventure comes from the Melbourne studio behind Untitled Goose Game.

Proximity Chat Is Part of the Game
Communication changes depending on where players are standing. Voices fade over distance, echo through corridors, and become muffled behind walls, while walkie-talkies extend their reach.
Players can also use gestures, laser pointers, binoculars, megaphones, whiteboards, and other tools. Text chat follows similar distance rules, so a microphone is not required.
Bring Your Own Group
Big Walk supports two to 12 players with cross-platform play, but there is no matchmaking or proper single-player mode. Progress is stored by the host, so the same person needs to host again when the group continues its journey.
The world also adjusts for two players, three players, or groups of four and above. House House describes it as a handcrafted adventure with a beginning, middle, and ending rather than an endless multiplayer sandbox.
Post-Launch Updates Continue
House House has already released several fixes targeting voice chat, network stability, connection errors, save protection, and progression issues.
The latest listed update is version 1.5.0 from August 25. It was a smaller patch fixing missing tree collision, and the studio says another update is already being worked on.
PlayStation Plus members also have until August 31 to add the PS5 version to their library through August’s Monthly Games lineup.
