Giveaway | Fix Gaming Channel Game of the Year 2023 Army Troop

Posted on December 23, 2023January 16, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Game of the Year 2023: Army Troop!

Every year we look back at the games that stood out the most, and for 2023, one title rose above the rest: Army Troop. This World War II–themed online multiplayer FPS blends the best parts of classic shooters with modern design, and it’s been keeping us hooked ever since release. To celebrate, we’re giving our community a chance to win some goodies while spotlighting our Game of the Year 2023.

Why Army Troop Won Us Over

Army Troop isn’t just another WWII shooter—it’s a full-on multiplayer playground. You pick your soldier class, load up with weapons ranging from Assault rifles to Snipers, Shotguns, Heavy Machine Guns, and more, then throw yourself into chaotic PvP battles across detailed maps. Each match feels alive, whether you’re with friends or squaring off against the game’s surprisingly sharp AI bots. Even when servers are quiet, the bot system makes sure you’re never stuck waiting for action.

Built for Old-School Fans (With Modern Twists)

What makes Army Troop so special is how it captures the spirit of old-school shooters—fast, unforgiving, and tactical—while layering in the kind of polish we expect in today’s games. From the smooth gunplay to the constant updates, it’s a project that feels both nostalgic and fresh at the same time. Whether you’re running coordinated squads in private matches or just jumping in solo for a quick firefight, there’s always something to pull you back in.

Community Pick, Our Pick

Army Troop was developed and published by Army Troop Studios, hitting Steam on September 17, 2023. Since then, it’s been winning over players looking for something that scratches the itch of Call of Duty’s early days or Medal of Honor’s golden years—only with modern graphics, smooth servers, and constant updates. It’s no surprise it became our Game of the Year 2023.
