CloverPit dev warns of unauthorized “CloverPit Gamble” on Nintendo Switch eShop

Panik Arcade says CloverPit is not on Nintendo Switch

Developer Panik Arcade posted a public warning that an unauthorized game using the CloverPit name — titled “CloverPit Gamble” — appears on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The studio says the listing is not made by them, and urged players not to buy from impostors.

What you can do if you spot it

  • Double-check the publisher/developer name on the eShop listing (impostor listings often hide behind unfamiliar publisher names).
  • Report the listing to Nintendo using the eShop’s reporting/support options.
  • If you already purchased it, consider contacting Nintendo Support to ask about refund options in your region.
  • Follow Panik Arcade’s official accounts for updates on any takedown progress or official platform announcements.

Why this matters

Fake listings don’t just hit players’ wallets — they also damage developers by confusing audiences, hijacking search results, and muddying a game’s reputation. If you’re unsure whether a listing is real, the safest move is to verify it through the developer’s official channels before buying.

Tip for readers: when a game is popular (or starts trending), impostor listings often pop up fast. A quick check of the official developer account or official store pages can save you a lot of hassle.
