Cybernetic ninjas, rhythm brawls, and one heavily armed bulldog
Steam Cyberpunk Fest is live with substantial discounts on futuristic shooters, cybernetic action games, neon-drenched indies, and dystopian adventures.
The event runs from August 3 through August 10, 2026. We selected five fast and violent games ranging from the premium-priced NINJA GAIDEN 4 to the newly released $2.99 shooter DOGENSTEIN.
All prices below were checked through the US Steam store. Regional prices will differ. For another neon-soaked action game, see our recent coverage of Kusan: City of Wolves.

1. NINJA GAIDEN 4 — $41.99
NINJA GAIDEN 4 is the premium selection, reduced by 40% from $69.99. Developed by PlatinumGames, Team NINJA, and Koei Tecmo Games, it brings the series into a cyberpunk version of Tokyo filled with cybernetic soldiers and supernatural threats.
Its high-speed combat combines traditional weapons with Bloodbind Ninjutsu, allowing new protagonist Yakumo to transform his arsenal during battle. It is considerably more expensive than the other games on this list, but the discount provides a better entry point for anyone who has been waiting.

2. Ghostrunner 2 — $7.99
Ghostrunner 2 receives one of the event’s strongest discounts, falling from $39.99 to $7.99. The first-person action game combines parkour, instant-kill sword combat, demanding boss encounters, and high-speed motorcycle sequences.
Most encounters can end with a single mistake, but successful runs turn every wall, enemy, and obstacle into part of one uninterrupted movement sequence. Anyone interested in similarly fast science-fiction action can also read our Metal Eden demo impressions.

3. RoboCop: Rogue City — $3.99
A 90% discount reduces RoboCop: Rogue City from $39.99 to only $3.99. It is a slower and heavier shooter than the two games above, giving RoboCop considerable strength, destructive weapons, investigative duties, and decisions that influence parts of the story.
The game uses Peter Weller’s likeness and voice while building a new story around Old Detroit. At this price, it is one of the clearest bargains in the event. You can also read our original RoboCop: Rogue City review.

4. Dead as Disco — $19.99
Dead as Disco is currently in Early Access and receives a 20% discount from its usual $24.99 price. Its neon-drenched combat synchronizes punches, dodges, counters, and takedowns with the music.
The current build includes story levels presented like interactive music videos, more than 25 tracks, character customization, and support for importing personal music. The developer expects Early Access to continue for approximately one year, with additional bosses, songs, abilities, cooperative play, and story content planned.

5. DOGENSTEIN — $2.99
DOGENSTEIN is the launch-day wildcard. Released on August 3, it costs $2.99 during its 40% introductory discount and contains 13 levels of fast retro shooting, pixel-art enemies, hidden areas, dark humor, and a retrowave soundtrack.
Developer Marc Leclerc presents the game as political satire centered on a bulldog fighting a totalitarian regime built around exaggerated ideas of political correctness and cancel culture.
This selection is based on the premise and low introductory price rather than established reception because Steam did not yet show enough user reviews to generate a rating. The store disclosure also states that AI was used for the voiceover, soundtrack, and cover art.
The Sale Ends August 10
Steam Cyberpunk Fest ends on August 10 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Individual promotions may use different deadlines, so check each store page before purchasing.
The five selections cover very different forms of cyberpunk action: demanding character combat, first-person parkour, heavy shooting, rhythm-based brawling, and inexpensive retro chaos.
