Goblin Slayer Brings Tactical Fantasy Combat to Nintendo Switch

The world of Goblin Slayer expands with a brand-new tactical RPG, Goblin Slayer – Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast, now officially launched on the Nintendo Switch. Unlike the previous adaptations, this title introduces original characters and a completely new storyline, led by a young heroine thrust into leadership and destiny after her father’s mysterious death. With a dark fantasy twist and a powerful resurrection artifact, this is a tale of loss, strategy, and mystical power.

Nightmare Feast puts players in command of a party of adventurers, each with unique roles and skill sets. The battles are turn-based and strategic, with terrain effects, elemental compatibility, and unit positioning making a critical difference. Players can also lay traps, cast area-based magic, or use items to shift the tide of battle. The resurrection box adds a mysterious twist, enabling players to revive fallen heroes under special conditions.

Key Features

  • Original storyline set in the Four-Cornered World with fresh characters and lore
  • Classic tactical RPG combat with strategic depth
  • Grid-based movement, turn orders, and terrain exploitation
  • A unique item that brings characters back from the dead—at a cost
  • Rich dialogue and branching events that affect the outcome

Respecting the Source Material

While this game departs from the familiar cast of the Goblin Slayer anime and light novels, it honors the tone and brutality of the universe. The mature themes, gritty designs, and haunting soundtrack all help immerse players in a world where every battle could be your last.
