Lohkare Games Oy, an indie game studio from Finland, is making waves with their debut action RPG Last Drop, a stylish and raw journey back to the streets of 1994 Finland. Set in the fictional city of Nykylä, players follow the chaotic life of Zeze (Seppo Sahtivaara) in an immersive blend of dark humor, street drama, and throwback grit inspired by the golden era of ‘80s and ‘90s action cinema.
Story and Setting
Last Drop captures the spirit of Finnish culture, telling a raw and emotional story about addiction, friendship, and the struggle for redemption in a harsh world. The fictional city of Nykylä is more than a backdrop—it’s a living, breathing slice of ‘90s Finland. With VHS textures, raw dialogue, and a distinctive regional tone, the game authentically captures an era now long past.
Gameplay and Exploration
Built on Unreal Engine 5, Last Drop brings gritty urban neighborhoods to life with exceptional detail. Expect sandbox-style missions, hand-to-hand combat, vehicular exploration, and side gigs that range from hustling cash to battling for respect. Zeze’s rise (or fall) is in your hands.
Voice Acting and Teamwork
What gives Last Drop even more emotional weight is its professionally voiced cast, adding realism and depth to each encounter. Over 90 interns and student contributors from Finnish institutions like JAMK, Metropolia, and Kajaani University of Applied Sciences poured more than 40,000 hours into the game’s development, bringing passion and regional identity to every frame.
