Thirty-six scheduled games, 34 game masters and nine tabletop systems shaped the October 2–4 gathering at Ayala Malls Circuit
Mimic Manila 2026 wrapped up its three-day tabletop role-playing game convention at Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati on October 4, bringing players, game masters, designers, artists and merchants together around the Philippine TTRPG community.
Entrance to the convention was free, while game seats were pre-registered separately. The organizers’ press kit listed 36 scheduled games run by 34 game masters across nine systems, with a pre-event attendance projection of 250 to 350 visitors per day. From a D&D Event to Mimic Manila
Mimic Manila grew out of an earlier one-day Dungeons & Dragons event at UP Diliman. The same core team expanded the idea in 2026 to cover tabletop RPGs more broadly, with game tables joined by stage programming and a market floor.
The nine systems listed for the convention were Dungeons & Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, One of Us Will Die, Daggerheart, Ten Candles, Lancer, Cyberpunk RED, Pathfinder and Draw Steel. Chaosium was listed as a publishing partner, while the organizers described their wider goal as building a safe and respectful TTRPG culture in the Philippines where local creators and new players can find a place at the table.

Creators, Panels and the Market Floor
The stage lineup included Filipino TTRPG designer Titus Villanueva III, creator of One of Us Will Die; designer and visual artist momatoes; BJ Recio of Buko Juice Games; and voice actress Vanille Velasquez, alongside other guests and performers.
Away from the game tables and stage, the event listed 31 makers, shops, sponsors and exhibits on its market floor, with DSW Dice and Ban Kee Miniatures serving as sponsors. The organizing team’s line for the convention was: “Every player gets a seat at the table.”
Fix Gaming Channel had planned to attend Mimic Manila in person on October 3. Last-minute flu-like symptoms in our attending team changed those plans, and we chose to stay home rather than risk bringing an illness into a busy tabletop event. We continued following the convention remotely instead.
