Police Shootout game console release announcement

Police Shootout Brings Tactical Thrills to Consoles in February

Posted on February 19, 2025September 29, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Police Shootout Expands from PC to Consoles

Games Incubator, known for the popular Animal Shelter series, is bringing its tactical police simulator Police Shootout to consoles. Following its successful debut on PC, the title will launch on Xbox Series X|S on February 20, 2025, and later on PlayStation 5 on March 14, 2025.

This marks a significant expansion for the game, offering console players a chance to experience its unique combination of first-person shooting and turn-based strategy. By blending realism with player choice, Police Shootout challenges you to balance tactical decisions with action-packed scenarios.

A Narrative with Depth

Players step into the shoes of Officer Scott Price, a law enforcer who leaves the pressures of big-city policing behind for a quieter town called San Andrino. But the calm surface hides high-stakes cases, from robberies to hostage crises, pushing Price to make moral and tactical choices that shape his career.

The storyline adds a layer of immersion, letting players understand not only the adrenaline of police operations but also the human cost of every decision made on duty. This narrative-driven approach makes Police Shootout stand out among traditional tactical shooters.

Gameplay That Blends Strategy and Action

At its core, Police Shootout delivers a tactical twist on the first-person shooter genre. Instead of relying solely on reflexes, players must carefully plan their actions. The turn-based system ensures that every move—whether negotiating with a suspect or using force—has lasting consequences.

Scenarios vary from small-scale interventions, like shoplifting and burglaries, to intense confrontations, such as gang standoffs and hostage rescues. Each mission encourages players to think like a real officer: analyze the situation, choose the safest outcome, and accept responsibility for the results.
