Survive the Fall Exclusive Beta Gameplay on Ultrawide Monitor

Posted on March 1, 2025January 16, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Rebuild and Survive in a Harsh New World

A meteor strike has brought an end to civilization as we know it. Humanity is on the brink of extinction. However, after years of uncertainty, sudden climate changes, extreme temperatures, and other catastrophes, conditions seem to improve to a point that it is possible to explore and re-populate this post-apocalyptic Earth. Build a settlement as a safe haven and new home for you and other survivors. Leverage their strengths and abilities for the greater good. Only as a close-knit community will you be able to overcome these harsh new times where rivaling factions fight for supremacy, and rebuild society against seemingly overwhelming odds. (Steam’s Official Description)

My Gameplay Experience

Controls are intuitive — you dive right into the essentials like hunting and deciding how to engage enemies: stealth or direct confrontation. It’s all about strategizing your survival and building a new base, focusing on both individual and collective resource management.

Co-op Potential

While I usually play solo, Survive the Fall feels like it could be the perfect co-op survival game for 2–4 friends. The cooperative element seems like it could really enhance the gameplay, making the struggle to rebuild civilization more dynamic and engaging. I’m really rooting for this game and can’t wait to see how the co-op plays out.

Environment & Atmosphere

The world is beautifully dangerous, teeming with opportunities and threats that make exploration a constant adventure.

Overall Impression

Despite generally not preferring top-down views, the depth and potential challenges in Survive the Fall keep me interested. There’s definitely something here as the game continues to develop.
