AMD Expands FSR 4.1 Support to Radeon RX 7000 GPUs

Posted on July 1, 2026July 1, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

FSR 4.1 reaches RDNA 3 as AMD expands Radeon RX 7000 support

AMD has expanded FSR Upscaling 4.1 support to Radeon RX 7000 Series graphics cards, giving RDNA 3 users access to the newer upscaling option through its latest driver rollout.

The support was added through AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.2, with AMD listing FSR Upscaling 4.1 support for Radeon RX 7000 Series graphics cards in the official release notes.

For players using Radeon RX 7000 hardware, this makes the update more than a small driver note. FSR 4.1 is no longer only tied to newer Radeon RX 9000 cards, and early third-party testing is now showing how the feature behaves on RDNA 3.

Why this matters for Radeon RX 7000 owners

Upscaling support can matter a lot for PC players trying to balance image quality and performance. With FSR 4.1 now available on Radeon RX 7000 cards, RDNA 3 users have another option to test in supported games without moving to a newer GPU generation.

AMD has also released newer driver notes for Adrenalin Edition 26.6.4, which include a fix for an intermittent application crash seen in some games when FSR Upscaling 4.1 was enabled on Radeon RX 7000 graphics products.
