Creepy Jar Announces Green Hell Upgrade for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series Xs on August 14 2024

Posted on August 1, 2024August 25, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

A Free Upgrade for Console Owners

Creepy Jar has confirmed that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version of Green Hell will be offered as a free update for players who already own the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. This ensures existing fans can seamlessly step into the enhanced experience at no extra cost.

Three Major Updates Come to Consoles

For the first time, console players will gain access to content that was previously PC-exclusive. The upgrade includes:

  • Update #17 – Storage & Transportation: Expand your survival possibilities with new storage and mobility options.
  • Update #18 – Fortifications: Defend your camp with advanced fortification mechanics.
  • Update #19 – Flamekeeper: Introduces fire-based gameplay, further deepening immersion and survival tactics.

No Crossplay or Save Transfers

While the upgrade brings significant new features, Creepy Jar has clarified that crossplay and save transfer will not be supported between console generations. Technical constraints prevent last-gen consoles from running the new updates at the performance level required.
