Battlefield 6 Free Trial Week – Try the Multiplayer via Battlefield REDSEC
EA and Battlefield Studios are opening up Battlefield 6 for a limited-time free trial, letting you test a slice of the multiplayer from November 25 to December 2, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Access runs through the free-to-play Battlefield: REDSEC client instead of a separate Battlefield 6 demo tile. On PC, you can jump straight in via the official Battlefield 6 Steam page.
If you’re more into slower, tactical warfare between firefights, you can also check out our recent Men of War II review for a very different kind of battlefield.

How the Free Trial Works
The Battlefield 6 free week lets you jump into three curated playlists built from five multiplayer modes across three maps, including Eastwood, Blackwell Fields, and Siege of Cairo. It’s a focused slice of the full game aimed at giving new players a feel for the large-scale chaos without unlocking everything at once.
To join, simply install Battlefield: REDSEC on your platform’s store (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, or Xbox Store), launch it, and select the Battlefield 6 Free Trial playlists from the main menu.
Any career rank, weapon unlocks, and progression you earn during the week carry over if you decide to buy Battlefield 6 afterwards. Your existing REDSEC progress also feeds into the full game, so this is an easy way to see if the gunplay, movement, and map design feel right for you.
