Best Free EA Mobile Games To Play In 2026

Posted on July 4, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

EA’s Free Mobile Lineup In 2026

EA still has several free mobile games worth checking in 2026, but some older listings need a closer look before you download.

EA has a long free-to-play library across console, PC, and mobile. For this list, the focus is on free EA mobile games you can check on Android and iOS.

Some older mobile games still show up around EA pages and search results, so this list keeps things useful: stronger current picks, official links, and a warning for games that are no longer safe recommendations.

1. EA SPORTS FC Mobile

EA SPORTS FC Mobile is the easy first pick for football fans. It brings quick matches, squad building, live events, and the familiar EA SPORTS FC setup to mobile.

Best for: football fans who want short sessions, team upgrades, and global football on the go.

Official site

2. Madden NFL Mobile

Madden NFL Mobile is the main free EA mobile pick for American football. You can build a roster, play events, upgrade players, and follow the NFL season from your phone.

Best for: NFL fans who want mobile football with roster building and quick play.

Official site

3. NBA LIVE Mobile

NBA LIVE Mobile gives basketball fans a free mobile option built around lineups, live events, and short court sessions. It is not trying to replace a full console basketball game, but it works as a quick phone option.

Best for: basketball fans who like roster building and short mobile matches.

Official site

4. STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes

STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes is one of EA’s longest-running mobile games. It focuses on character collecting, squad upgrades, turn-based battles, and daily progression.

Best for: Star Wars fans, RPG collectors, and players who enjoy building teams over time.

6. SimCity BuildIt

SimCity BuildIt is one of the stronger casual picks in EA’s mobile library. You build a city, manage services, expand districts, and keep your citizens happy.

Best for: players who like city building, management, and slower progress on mobile.

7. Plants vs. Zombies 2

Plants vs. Zombies 2 is still one of the easiest EA mobile games to recommend. Place plants, stop zombies, unlock more tools, and move through new worlds.

Best for: casual players, tower defense fans, and anyone who wants a simple mobile game with personality.

Official site

8. The Sims FreePlay

The Sims FreePlay is the better free Sims mobile option in 2026. The Sims Mobile has been shut down, so new players looking for free Sims on mobile should check this one instead.

Best for: players who want a free life sim with building, families, pets, and long-term progress.

Official site

9. Golf Clash

Golf Clash is a quick competitive golf game built around timing, clubs, upgrades, and online matches. It is easy to start and works well for short sessions.

Best for: players who want quick sports rounds without a full simulation setup.

Official site

10. Command & Conquer: Rivals

Command & Conquer: Rivals is a faster mobile strategy version of the classic Command & Conquer name. It is built around short 1v1 matches, unit control, and quick tactical decisions.

Best for: strategy players who want short competitive matches on mobile.

EA Mobile Games To Skip In 2026

Two names need a warning. The Sims Mobile shut down on January 20, 2026, and Real Racing 3 shut down on March 20, 2026, according to EA’s online service update page.

That is why they are not ranked here, even if older pages or search results still bring them up.

Final Thoughts

EA still has a solid free mobile lineup in 2026. EA SPORTS FC Mobile, Madden NFL Mobile, STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes, Need for Speed No Limits, SimCity BuildIt, and Plants vs. Zombies 2 are the easiest starting points.

Before downloading, check the current store page in your region. Free-to-play mobile games can change fast, and old library pages are not always the best guide for what is still worth installing.
