Iron Meat Unleashes Retro Carnage Launches September 26

Posted on September 24, 2024October 26, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Step back into the heyday of arcade shooters with Iron Meat, a game that channels the frantic spirit of classic side-scrolling action. Launching on September 26, 2024, this pixel-packed thrill ride is a featured highlight in our ongoing Fix Indie Games Showcase, celebrating the best of independent game artistry.

Key Gameplay Features

Multi-Phase Boss Fights

Face off against a range of grotesque and dynamic bosses, each with multiple combat phases that require adaptability and timing to overcome.

2-Player Couch Co-Op Mode

Grab a friend and tear through stages together in local co-op. It’s double the firepower and double the chaos.

Over 30 Unlockable Skins

From robotic sharks to winged cowboys, Iron Meat allows for extensive visual customization with 30+ skins and interchangeable body parts.

Inspirations & Visual Style

Fans of Prison City, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, or Katana Zero will feel right at home. Iron Meat marries the best of retro aesthetics with modern fluidity. Its gameplay evokes the flair of Broforce and The Last Faith, all while carving its own path in the genre.

Language Support

Iron Meat supports a wide international audience with localization in the following languages: English, Russian, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (LATAM), Traditional Chinese, and Polish.
