Liberte Brings the French Revolution to Xbox This November

In a unique blend of historical revolution and cosmic horror, Liberte is set to slash its way onto the Xbox Series X|S this November 15 2025. Inspired by the chaotic energy of the French Revolution, the game combines the thrill of hack’n’slash action with card-based strategy and roguelite replayability.

Revolution and Horror Collide

Developed by the Polish studio Superstatic and published by Ultimate Games S.A., Liberte first drew attention on PC for its innovative combat and deep narrative. Now, console players will finally experience the game’s twisted reimagining of 18th-century Paris—where revolutionaries battle not only political corruption but the creeping influence of Lovecraft-inspired horrors.

Gameplay: Strategy Meets Steel

At the heart of Liberte lies a dynamic combat system that fuses fast-paced melee fighting with deck-building strategy. Players can combine over 100 skill and talent cards to create distinctive loadouts, shaping each run into a fresh tactical challenge. Every fight—whether waged with blade or musket—feels intimate, brutal, and rewarding.
