Fraudulent giveaway links are leading players to fake sign-in pages that can put their accounts and in-game currency at risk.
A free-Robux phishing scam is targeting Roblox players, including children, through links shared on social platforms. A September 27, 2026 report by The Guardian describes fake giveaway offers that lead to convincing copies of the official login page.
The warning follows a familiar pattern of gaming-account theft. Fix Gaming Channel has previously covered phishing links and fake support messages targeting players on Steam and Discord.
How the Fake Robux Giveaway Works
Scammers promote free currency through misleading links on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Discord. The linked page imitates Roblox and asks players to sign in. Once entered, account details may be captured and used to steal currency, items, or access to the account.
This is an account-phishing scam, not a reported breach of the Roblox platform. The company’s official support guidance states that websites and videos promising unofficial free Robux or generators are scams.
How to Protect Your Account
Do not sign in through unfamiliar giveaway links or share passwords and verification codes. Open the official Roblox website or app yourself and enable two-step verification.
Anyone who entered information on a suspicious page should change their password, check account sessions, and use Roblox Support if they lose access. For another example of fake gaming login pages, see our report on the FACEIT verification scam.
