300000 Prize Pool at the Milk Cup 2025 Empowering Women in Esports With New Duos Format and Academy Launch

Posted on March 24, 2025July 21, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

The Milk Cup is making its much-anticipated return in 2025 with a renewed mission and major upgrades. Recognized as one of the top competitive platforms for women in esports, the tournament now features a massive $300,000 prize pool, a new duos-based format, and the debut of The Milk Cup Academy—an initiative focused on education, mentorship, and player development.

Duos Format Debuts for Strategic Competition

This year’s competition introduces a brand-new format: duos. By teaming up in pairs, players are encouraged to build stronger strategic chemistry, enhance in-game coordination, and bring a new dynamic to the tournament. This change aims to elevate competitive excitement while fostering deeper collaboration among female gamers.

Introducing The Milk Cup Academy

More than just a tournament, The Milk Cup 2025 also marks the launch of The Milk Cup Academy, a program tailored to help aspiring women gamers advance toward professional careers. With mentorship from experienced figures like Fortnite streamer ThePeachCobbler, the Academy offers:

  • Personalized coaching and training sessions
  • Educational resources on competitive play
  • Wellness and nutrition guidance to support mental and physical performance
  • A welcoming, empowering community to grow in

“The Milk Cup Academy is a game-changer. So many talented women just need the right guidance and opportunity. This program gives them both.” — ThePeachCobbler, Fortnite streamer and mentor

Where to Watch and How to Join

The event will be live-streamed on Gonna Need Milk’s Twitch channel, allowing fans and fellow gamers to follow the competition in real-time. Three qualifier series will be held in April, June, and August, culminating in the Finals later in the year.

Interested participants can register and learn more at: gonnaneedmilk.com/milk-cup.

To stay connected and informed, players and fans are encouraged to join the Gonna Need Milk Discord.

More Than Just Milk—Fueling Gamers with Purpose

MilkPEP continues to support gamers through strategic nutrition. Real milk is naturally packed with nutrients like calcium, zinc, B12, and high-quality protein—vital for brain function, energy, and overall health during high-pressure matches. This nutrition-first approach solidifies milk’s new identity as The Performance Drink of Gamers.

About the Organizer

The Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) is a national initiative backed by America’s dairy companies. Based in Washington, D.C., MilkPEP is committed to highlighting the benefits of milk not only in traditional athletics but increasingly within the fast-growing world of esports.
