Artwork of Gedonia 2 showing multiple heroes ready for battle in a fantasy landscape

Gedonia 2 Online Co Op Rpg Sequel Heads to Steam Early Access April 9th

Posted on March 6, 2025July 30, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Veteran indie developer Oleg Kazakov returns with Gedonia 2, the highly anticipated sequel to his open-world fantasy RPG. Launching into Steam Early Access on April 9, 2025, the game invites players to experience a vast, dynamic world—solo or with friends through its newly introduced online co-op multiplayer mode.

What Makes Gedonia 2 Stand Out?

Online Co-Op Adventure

Gedonia 2 allows up to four players to explore its massive open world together. Whether you’re questing with friends or tackling dungeons as a solo adventurer, the game accommodates all playstyles.

Decades After the First Game

The story picks up years after the events of the original Gedonia, with the eastern lands now opening up for exploration. Political factions rise, magic is surging, and hidden relics await discovery.

Robust Character Customization

Build your perfect hero—or villain. A revamped character creation system allows players to fine-tune their look, abilities, combat style, and moral alignment.

Choices that Shape the World

Your decisions ripple across Gedonia. Align with powerful factions, betray allies, or forge your own path. The butterfly effect system means each playthrough can unfold in wildly different ways.

Intuitive Crafting and Survival

From enchanted swords to crucial potions, Gedonia 2’s upgraded crafting system makes creating useful gear a core part of gameplay. Survival elements add extra depth to wilderness travel.

Handcrafted Quests and Exploration

Every quest in Gedonia 2 is written and designed by hand, adding narrative richness and diversity. Encounter mysteries, ancient ruins, and dangerous foes as you carve your legacy in the realm.
