Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut Pc Release With Super Ultrawide Support

Posted on March 16, 2024January 16, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Sucker Punch Productions’ award-winning action adventure, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, is officially arriving on PC this May 16. Ported by the skilled team at Nixxes Software, this release brings the full samurai experience to a new audience—complete with visual enhancements, control customization, and support for modern PC hardware.

Everything included, plus PC-focused features

The PC edition includes the full original game, the emotionally driven Iki Island expansion, and the fast-paced Legends online co-op mode. But this isn’t just a copy-paste job—Nixxes has taken the time to make sure it feels native to PC. Expect:

  • Unlocked frame rates
  • Comprehensive graphics settings and presets
  • Customizable mouse and keyboard input
  • Full controller support, including the PlayStation DualSense

Built for ultrawide and triple-screen setups

If you use a 21:9, 32:9, or even 48:9 resolution, Ghost of Tsushima will take full advantage. This is one of the first big-budget open-world games to launch on PC with native support for super ultrawide and triple-monitor displays.

Whether you’re exploring the wind-swept plains of Tsushima or locked in a tense standoff, the immersive edge-to-edge experience is going to elevate the entire journey.

Cutting-edge performance across all GPUs

To ensure strong performance across a wide range of systems, the PC release supports:

  • NVIDIA DLSS 3
  • AMD FSR 3
  • Intel XeSS

Players can also opt for NVIDIA DLAA or FSR 3 Native AA for those prioritizing visual quality over performance. This flexibility makes the game shine across high-end and mid-range setups alike.

DualSense haptics bring combat to life

If you own a PlayStation 5 controller, you’ll be able to tap into haptic feedback and adaptive trigger functionality on PC. This adds another layer to the immersion—feeling the pull of the bowstring, the resistance of a parry, or the impact of every slash makes a big difference.

Pre-purchase bonuses available now

Pre-orders are open on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Early buyers get a small head start with exclusive content:

  • Traveler’s Attire
  • New Game+ Horse
  • Unique armor dyes
