Terminator 2D: No Fate Delayed to December 2025 as Reef Finalizes Physical Editions

Posted on November 7, 2025January 23, 2026 By Aidan Minter

I’ll be back… in December: Terminator 2D: No Fate delayed to December 2025

Publisher Reef Entertainment has delayed Terminator 2D: No Fate to December 2025 to allow additional time to assemble and ship the physical editions. Digital and physical releases remain planned across PC and consoles.

It’s the game’s third schedule shift after prior moves earlier this fall. The launch now lines up for holiday season, with Day One, Collector’s, and an online-exclusive edition in the works.

Why it still looks promising

UK studio Bitmap Bureau has a reputation for polished 16-bit-style action on modern hardware, and No Fate follows suit with crisp pixel art and a flexible, custom engine. Expect a side-scrolling mix of run-and-gun and set-piece missions that nod to Terminator 2: Judgment Day without feeling stuck in the past.

You’ll play as Sarah Connor and the T-800 across scenes inspired by the film—from a future-war glimpse with Skynet to the iconic LA spillway chase and more.
