Vampire Hunters Unleashes Major Update New Map Permanent Upgrades and More

Posted on June 1, 2024August 18, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

What’s New in the Latest Update

Vampire Hunters, the thrilling Roguelite Survivors FPS, has just launched a game-changing update, packed with new content and epic improvements. Developer Gamecraft Studios continues to elevate the game based on player feedback, and this latest update, version 0.13.0.cl9110, introduces a new map, permanent upgrades, new enemies, and numerous other exciting features that will keep players on the edge of their seats.

New Map: Yuki Vale

An ancient castle belonging to the greatest clan of oni hunters is under siege. Hunters must face a growing demonic energy that intensifies with every passing minute. Can you defeat the forces of the underworld and survive the rising darkness?

New Type of Enemy: Elites

Elites are tougher than normal monsters but not as formidable as bosses. Each elite has unique behavior, making gameplay more dynamic. Prepare to hunt these powerful foes across all maps, with Yuki Vale being the ultimate elite hunting ground.

Permanent Upgrades

A new permanent upgrade system has been introduced. Besides character skill trees, players can now upgrade their account, with all characters sharing the same progression. Upgrades include long-term boosts that carry across all runs.

Localization

The game is now localized in six languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese.

Merge Weapons

To address feedback about screen clutter, players can now merge all weapons into one (or two, one for each hand). This keeps the screen clean while still retaining all weapon functionalities. Unleash your full arsenal without the chaos!

New UI and HUD

The interface has been revamped for smoother navigation and a clearer HUD, especially when stacking multiple weapons. Navigate with ease and stay focused on the hunt.

New Relics

33 new relics have been introduced, including a new type of Unique Relic, which is rarer but extremely powerful. These items enhance the roguelike experience, ensuring every run feels distinct.

Boss Chest & New Bosses

Defeating bosses now rewards players with special chests containing high-tier relics or boss-exclusive relics. Three new bosses have also been added, raising the stakes in every encounter.

New Monsters

Nine new monsters now roam Yuki Vale, further enriching the battleground with fresh threats.

Improvements to Existing Maps

Elites have been added to all maps with rebalanced enemy progression. Veterans are encouraged to begin from the Brotherhood Chateau, advance through Corrupted Necropolis and Village Yard, and finally challenge Yuki Vale.

Weapons Balancing

All weapons have been revisited for better balance. Early levels received significant buffs and progression curves have been smoothed, creating more rewarding combat.

Reroll, Lock, and Ban

Survivors Mode now allows reroll, lock, and ban options using boss tokens. This adds new layers of strategic choice to each run.

Ragdoll Animation

Certain monsters now feature ragdoll animations, with customization options in the settings. Every kill feels more satisfying and dynamic.

Developer Insight

Tiago Zaidan, the game’s lead designer, reflected in an exclusive interview with Fix Gaming Channel:
“The innovative nature of the game jam translated into Vampire Hunters, making it truly stand out with the weapon stacking mechanic. We entered the Early Access with our timeline completely open, really wanting to listen to our players and make it a better game. The game has changed a lot since the initial release, and we are super happy with its current state. Our focus now lies on creating more content.”

About Vampire Hunters

To hunt vampires, you’ll need guns. Lots of guns. Mow down vampires, demons, and more by stacking your weapons into absurd, impossibly awesome builds. Unleash your firepower and become the baddest Vampire Hunter in this Roguelite Survivors FPS.
