A Fresh Wave of SEGA Favorites Just Hit Nintendo’s New Console

You know that feeling when a classic publisher suddenly drops a bunch of big games on new hardware? That’s exactly what’s happening with SEGA and the Switch 2 right now. Whether you’re in the mood for gritty brawling in neon-lit streets, speedruns with a blue blur, puzzle duels, or just some laid-back management mayhem—there’s honestly something for everyone in this latest batch.

What’s Available Now on Switch 2?

To make it easy, here’s a quick rundown:

  • Available Now:
    • Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut
    • Sonic x Shadow Generations
    • Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S (Switch 2 exclusive)
  • Coming Soon:
    • Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army – June 19, 2025
    • Two Point Museum – Later in 2025

So yes—SEGA is already bringing the heat to Switch 2, with more on the way!

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut

Let’s be real—if you haven’t played Yakuza 0 yet, this is your moment. The Director’s Cut brings all the drama, wild side quests, and brutal street fights of 1988 Japan right to the Switch 2. It’s the perfect place to start if you’re new to the series, or a great excuse to relive the madness if you’re a longtime fan.

Sonic x Shadow Generations

Shadow is back, Sonic’s tagging along, and this time you’re getting the best of both worlds. Sonic x Shadow Generations isn’t just a port—it’s a full-on celebration of speed and style, updated for Switch 2 with smoother visuals and faster load times. If you grew up on Sonic (or just want to see Shadow do his thing), it’s a must-play.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S (Switch 2 Exclusive)

If you’re the type who likes your gaming fast and a little chaotic, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S is exclusive to Switch 2 and packed with new features. The Doubles mode is a blast (and a little bit of a friendship tester). Plus, the new Joy-Con 2 mouse control and camera gimmicks give it that “only on Switch” vibe we love.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

Mark your calendar for June 19 if you’re into cult classics or action RPGs with a supernatural twist. Raidou Remastered updates a real hidden gem with sharper visuals, better battles, and full voice-overs—finally giving this series the attention it’s always deserved.

Two Point Museum

And coming up later this year, SEGA’s taking the chaos of Two Point Hospital and letting us loose in a museum. Two Point Museum looks as quirky as you’d expect—if you ever wanted to manage mummies, dinosaurs, and whatever else they throw at you, this one’s for you. No rating yet, but expect the usual silliness.

I’m genuinely excited to see SEGA showing some real love to the Switch 2. This mix of cult favorites, exclusives, and new features is exactly the kind of stuff that keeps things interesting—especially if you want to break out of your usual routine. Which one are you playing first? Tell me what you think over on our socials.
