GTA 6: New Trailer Drops, Reveals Vice City Chaos and Release Date Shift

Posted on May 6, 2025May 8, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Rockstar Games has just surprised fans with a brand-new trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. The video offers a deeper look into the characters, the world, and the story that awaits. It dropped without warning and quickly became the center of discussion across the gaming community.

Jason and Lucia Take the Lead
The trailer opens with a striking moment—Jason picking up Lucia as she walks out of prison. What follows hints at a complex and volatile relationship between the two. It’s clear now that GTA 6 is going all-in on its “criminal duo” narrative. It puts players in the middle of their desperate—and likely chaotic—journey through the underworld.

Back to Vice City, But Bigger
Set in the fictional state of Leonida, the game brings players back to the beloved Vice City. Now it is fully reimagined with massive detail and modern flair. The new footage highlights neon-soaked cities, sprawling highways, swampy backroads, and social media-inspired chaos. It’s a wild mix of urban sprawl and rural decay that feels more alive than ever.

What’s New?
Graphically, the trailer shows major upgrades since the first teaser in 2023. From facial animations to environmental detail, Rockstar is clearly pushing the envelope. The tone is gritty but stylish, balancing high-stakes drama with the over-the-top antics the series is known for.
