New Map, New Weapons, LTMG Mode, Gear Sets, and Full Fix List Detailed

Hello soldiers!

Welcome to the release notes for Update 1.18: Operation: Overrun! We’ve officially been cleared for landing, although safe arrival is not guaranteed. This update brings a brand-new map, two new LMGs, premium gear sets, and loads of fixes and improvements.

New Map: Forest

Set in an abandoned airbase overtaken by nature, Forest delivers intense CQB and long-range encounters across woodland, riverbeds, runways, and hangars.

Available in Versus modes:
Push Security, Push Insurgents, Frontline, Firefight East, Firefight West, Domination, Skirmish, Ambush

Available in Co-op modes:
Checkpoint Security, Checkpoint Insurgents, Hardcore Checkpoint (both sides), Outpost, Survival

New Limited-Time PvP Mode: First Blood

This special mode limits players to LMGs and sidearms, turning every match into a chaotic brawl. It’s a nod to 80s action movies and the raw stopping power of these new guns.

Gameplay Improvements

Lighting:

Citadel has been brightened to improve visibility without losing atmosphere.

Playlist Changes:

  • Defusal: Rotated to LTGM to prioritize Skirmish mode
  • Free For All: Moved to LTGM for better category fit

 Major Fixes

Art & Graphics:

  • Hair, tattoos, clipping, lighting, scope visuals, and underbarrel issues resolved
  • Weapon skins now render properly (e.g., Digital Splatter, Two-Tone)

Audio:

  • Fixed no sound during match search

Gameplay:

  • Fixed crossplay party bugs and fire support issues
  • Fixed reload bugs, bot behavior, and cache destruction inconsistencies

UI/UX:

  • Fixed misaligned UI elements, duplicate training tips, and controller sensitivity bugs

Mod Editor:

  • Fixed crashes, plugin errors, and object spawning bugs

Miscellaneous:

  • Fixed FPS drops, animation glitches, texture issues, and loadout problems

Known Issues

  • NVG accessories appear below characters after resupply
  • Glass, armor, and headgear clipping in third-person view
  • Several weapon-specific texture and animation bugs
  • UI translation issues in Replays and some menus
