Insomniac Games is set to release a significant update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on March 7, exclusively for the PlayStation 5. This free update brings long-requested features like New Game Plus, new suits, and major accessibility improvements that elevate the overall player experience.
What to Expect in the March Update
New Game Plus Mode
This long-awaited mode lets players replay the full game with all previously earned upgrades and abilities. It also introduces new content:
- Ultimate Levels that continue leveling beyond the original cap
- Golden Gadget styles as visual rewards
- Enhanced difficulty settings for veteran players
New Suits and Symbiote Customization
Two new outfits inspired by Marvel’s Hellfire Gala are added—one for Peter Parker and one for Miles Morales. These are free for all players. Additionally, you can now tweak your symbiote suit’s style to better suit your preferences.
Photo Mode Enhancements
Take better screenshots with improved control over the camera and filters. Capture cinematic shots of your heroic feats or New York skyline swings more easily.
Accessibility Improvements
Insomniac continues to push forward with inclusivity by adding:
