PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat this August as Sony brings a powerhouse lineup to all membership tiers. Whether you’re in for gritty combat, open-world survival, or over-the-top anime action, there’s something for everyone.

Available from August 5 – September 1, 2025

The August monthly games are accessible for all Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers. Once claimed, they’re yours to play for the duration of your active subscription.

Lies of P (PS5, PS4)

A dark reimagining of Pinocchio set in a Belle Époque nightmare, Lies of P throws you into a brutal soulslike experience filled with monstrous automatons, complex moral choices, and punishing boss fights. If you missed it on release, this is your chance to discover one of the most stylish and unforgiving action RPGs in recent memory.
