Step Into the Riot Line in This Free Tactical Simulation

I’ve played it — and it’s solid. If you’re into strategy, control, and making tense decisions under pressure, I definitely recommend giving it a go. The free prologue of Riot Control Simulator, titled Rookie Day, is now available on Steam. This first mission introduces you to the world of riot control operations, setting the tone for a much larger experience coming later.

Authority Doesn’t Defend Itself

Developed by Polish indie studio Corpix Games and published by Wildlands Interactive and Ultimate Games S.A., Riot Control Simulator drops players into volatile civil unrest situations. In story mode, you’re not just a cop—you’re part of the state’s machinery in a society inching toward authoritarianism.

Gameplay includes crowd control, ID checks, arrests, tactical formations, and moral decision-making. Whether you go in with full force or a more restrained, humane approach is up to you. The game emphasizes choice and strategy, with each mission providing different ways to restore order.
