Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 Set to Release on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series Xs

Posted on September 6, 2024August 6, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Ship Graveyard Simulator 2, developed by Polish studio Games Incubator, is officially launching on September 6, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. After a successful run on PC, this sequel introduces enhanced gameplay and a host of new features, including the Warships DLC right out of the box.

Expanded Gameplay Mechanics

Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 builds upon the original title’s core loop with refined mechanics and a more immersive dismantling system. Players now deal with significantly larger wrecks and more complex ship components.

  • A crane to lift heavy ship parts
  • Large containers to transport valuable materials
  • Improved cutting, welding, and salvage mechanics
  • A richer in-game economy to upgrade tools and operations

A Beach Full of Wrecks

The game is set on a massive shoreline filled with shipwrecks from various eras. Each wreck offers unique challenges and rewards as players disassemble everything from tankers to warships. The setting is both gritty and beautiful, reflecting the hard labor and hidden treasures beneath rusted steel.

Warships DLC Included on Consoles

Console players will receive the Warships DLC as part of the base game. This expansion features decommissioned naval vessels and introduces new hazards, including radioactive materials. To safely explore these wrecks, players will need to rely on tools like the Geiger counter for proper detection.

Community Response and PC Success

On Steam, Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 launched with generally positive feedback. With over 1,700 reviews and 80% positive reception, the community has embraced its balance of realism and relaxation.

Console players can now experience the same gritty satisfaction of tearing down ships piece by piece—on a controller.
