Space Marine 2 Anniversary Update lands September 4 — Year 2 roadmap stretches into 2026

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 isn’t slowing down. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have announced the Anniversary Update (Patch 10) will arrive on September 4, 2025, kicking off Year 2 of the game’s live service content. Alongside new missions, PvP modes, and enemies, the roadmap confirms free updates and cosmetic DLCs through Q2 2026.

The Anniversary Update is the largest patch so far, dropping both PvE and PvP content:

  • New PvE mission with expanded Stratagems tactical play.
  • Helbrute Onslaught, a new PvP mode, and a new Eternal War arena.
  • Chaos Spawn debuts as a new boss enemy, with multiple variants.
  • Three new weapons, including the Pyreblaster, Pyrecannon, and Combi Melta.

Season Pass II and DLC Packs

Launching alongside the update is Season Pass II, introducing nine DLC packs across Year 2. The first two land on September 4:

  • Black Templars Champion Pack – Champion skin for the Bulwark class, unique Power Sword and Storm Shield, plus a custom banner.
  • Imperial Fists Cosmetic Pack – Over 40 cosmetics across seven Successor Chapters, including Crimson Fists and Celestial Lions.

Future packs will spotlight fan-favorite chapters like the Blood Angels, Salamanders, Iron Hands, Raptors, and even the elusive Carcharodons.

The Road Ahead — Patches 11 to 15

The roadmap doesn’t stop at Patch 10. Five more updates are planned, extending into mid-2026:

  • Patch 11 (Q4 2025) – New PvE mission, more Stratagems, cosmetics for Blood Angels and Salamanders.
  • Patch 12 (Q1 2026) – Long-awaited Techmarine class with Omnissiah Axe, plus new Operations and Battle-Barge expansion.
  • Patch 13 (Q1 2026) – New PvE content, Terminus enemy, progression overhaul, Iron Hands Chapter Pack.
  • Patch 14 (Q2 2026) – Two new PvP arenas, additional Stratagem rewards, Raptors cosmetics, and a redacted Champion Pack.
  • Patch 15 (Q2 2026) – Ends the cycle with a new Siege map and more Stratagem enhancements.

Space Marine 2’s steady stream of updates is designed to keep its community engaged well into next year. With new classes, weapons, arenas, and cosmetic packs tied to the Warhammer 40K universe, it’s clear Saber Interactive is committing to longevity — ensuring that every loyal Astartes has reasons to return to the eternal war.
