Coridden, the upcoming co-op action RPG developed by two-person indie team Aftnareld and published by Anshar Publishing, is set to launch on January 29, 2025, for PC. Built around the imaginative concept of shapeshifting and riding monsters, Coridden blends nostalgic RPG elements with modern-day co-op action.

Whether venturing alone or teaming up with up to three others, players will explore a vibrant, evolving world where they can switch between human and beast forms. This shapeshifting ability lies at the core of Coridden’s gameplay, pushing creativity in both exploration and combat.

Coridden takes cues from beloved classics like Diablo, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, and Champions of Norrath, then adds a unique spin with its beast-riding and transformation mechanics. What began as a simple idea—one player riding another in beast form—grew into a full-fledged game that redefines co-op gameplay.

Feanen, Community Manager at Anshar, described it as “a fun twist on shapeshifting” where players gain powers by defeating enemies and transforming into them. “Coridden’s combat shines with elemental combinations, effect stacking, and skirmishes against beasts and bandits,” he shared.
