Idun Frontline Survival Full Release Announced for January 20th

Posted on January 14, 2025November 24, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

January 2025 – The battlefield is heating up as IDUN Interactive, in collaboration with Surefire.Games, prepares to launch the full version of IDUN – Frontline Survival on January 20, 2025. Following a massively successful prologue—boasting over 20,000 downloads and a stunning 100% positive rating—expectations for the full release are sky-high.

A Stellar Start with the Prologue

The prologue version of IDUN – Frontline Survival struck a chord with RTS and tactical players alike, showcasing a fluid blend of strategic unit deployment and powerful turret mechanics. Backed by the artistic vision of a former Battlefield series VFX director, the visual fidelity and polish have also earned praise across the board.

Raid Mode Brings the Heat

One of the highlights in the prologue is the challenging Raid Mode—a roguelike, wave-based mode packed with aliens and chaos. Here, players must make split-second decisions on deploying troops, positioning heroes, and building the best turret placements possible to withstand the incoming onslaught.

What to Expect in the Full Release

The full version expands on every gameplay element introduced in the prologue. Get ready for:

  • Resource extraction and tech upgrades on dynamic maps.
  • An in-depth main campaign filled with brutal, tactical combat.
  • New gameplay modes, including:
    • Defending collection points
    • Escorting nuclear vehicles
    • Protecting mining carts
  • Endless alien hordes to crush with your evolving defense strategies.

Accessibility and Language Support

IDUN – Frontline Survival will support full English voice-over and localized text for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese. This ensures accessibility for players around the world, right from launch.

Availability and Platform

The Prologue is already available on Steam, offering a free taste of what’s to come. Mark your calendars for January 20, 2025, when the full game unleashes the next wave of tactical tower defense warfare.
