Wildfire – Firefighting Tactics Meet Co-Op Strategy in 2025’s Hottest SimulationRescue

In a world where climate change has made wildfires more intense and unpredictable, Rescue Ops: Wildfire puts you in the middle of the chaos. Developed by Exkee, this upcoming co-op and single-player firefighter simulation is preparing for an Early Access launch by late 2025 or early 2026, and it’s already captured the attention of thousands—with wishlist numbers climbing toward 50,000 on Steam.

This is not your average simulation. You’re not just spraying water—you’re managing strategy, coordinating resources, and saving lives across vast maps shaped by wind, terrain, and real-time fire behavior.

Developer/Publisher: Exkee

Real-World Wildfires. Real-Time Strategy.

In Rescue Ops: Wildfire, you don’t just fight fires—you manage entire wildfire operations. Fly helicopters, drive French wildland fire engines, and coordinate both air and ground support.

Respond to real-time fire spread influenced by terrain, wind, and vegetation. Set tactical backfires, clear paths with chainsaws, and request resupply drops or water bombers as the situation evolves. Two firefighters with hoses attempt to control a fast-spreading forest blaze in Rescue Ops: Wildfire

Key Gameplay Features

Civilian Rescue – Evacuate trapped victims before fire paths cut off escape routes

Dynamic Fire Simulation – Fires react to wind, slope, and fuel availability

Two Game Modes

Campaign: Follow a full fire season of missions (solo or co-op)

Sandbox: Open-ended procedural missions with full control over your strategy

Tactical Resource Management – Monitor water usage, vehicle deployment, and team positioning

Real Gear and Input – Tools and procedures developed in collaboration with real French firefighting units

Multiplayer Support – Team up with 2–4 players online for full-scale opsA firefighter in full gear stands ready with a Pulaski tool in a mountainous wildfire zone in Rescue Ops: Wildfire

Built for Realism and Replayability

No two fires play out the same way. The game’s custom fire propagation system ensures missions feel alive and challenging every time. One small change in wind direction could change your entire plan.

Each map is inspired by real wildfire zones—from forested valleys to scorched hillsides—giving players a wide range of tactical considerations and terrain-specific challenges.
