Terranigma Sets January 14, 2027 Release Date, Reveals New Arranged Mode

Stronger magic, a mini map, and a date for Ark’s return

Terranigma gets a January release date, new gameplay options, and a Tokyo Game Show demo.

Clear River Games has announced that Terranigma launches January 14, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC.

Following our August coverage of Terranigma’s return, the publisher has detailed its new Arranged Mode and physical editions.

Arranged Mode and a TGS demo

Arranged Mode increases magic damage, adds a mini map, and lets players save anywhere. The wider feature set includes rewind, remappable controls, quick magic, item hot-swapping, a music player, a museum, CRT display options, customizable high-resolution backgrounds, and multiple aspect ratios.

Visitors to Tokyo Game Show can try an English or Japanese demo in Hall 6, booth N-04, in the PLAION area inside the Happinet booth.

Physical preorders are open

Standard and SteelBook editions will be joined by the $199.99 / €199.99 Gaia Edition. Its extras include a Yomi figurine, a musical Pandora’s Box replica, a 200-page art book, a soundtrack CD, an enamel pin, and a cloth world map.

Physical preorders are open through Clear River Games and Limited Run Games.
